SERVICE PROCEDURES

2025-2026 Transfer 25 Hour Simple Grease Service

Required Tools

  • 10mm Socket
  • Shock Pump

Step 1

Remove the Saddle Clamps and hardware. Turn the 4mm hex bolts counter-clockwise to remove them from the Saddle Clamp Nuts. Set all clamps and hardware aside.

Step 2

Remove the black air cap at the top of the post by turning it counter-clockwise with a 10mm socket. Charge the post to 275-325psi. Reinstall the Air Valve Cap finger tight with a 10mm socket.

Step 3

Reinstall the Saddle Clamps making sure all arrows face the front of the post.

Step 4

Clean any debris from the upper post and collar area. Loosen the collar at the junction between the upper and lower post by turning it counter-clockwise (when viewed from above). If it is too difficult to loosen by hand, use a strap wrench to turn it counter-clockwise.

Step 5

Slide the collar up to expose the upper post. Coat the upper post under the collar with a thick film of Slick Honey.

Step 6

Slide the collar back down and thread it back onto the lower post by turning it clockwise (when viewed from above) until hand tight. Reinstall the collar retention o-ring into the underside of the collar by hand or using a screwdriver.

Step 7

Cycle the seatpost 2-3 times through its travel, then wipe off any excess Slick Honey from the exterior of the seatpost.
