Using Fork and Rear Shock Controls
FOX bicycle forks and rear shock controls consist of the following:
- Red knobs control the adjustment of REBOUND damping. Turning a red FOX rebound knob clockwise will increase rebound damping, thus slowing damper return speed
after compression. Turning a red FOX rebound knob counter-clockwise will decrease
rebound damping, thus accelerating the return speed after compression.
- Blue knobs or levers control the adjustment of COMPRESSION damping. Turning a
blue FOX compression knob clockwise will increase compression damping, which stiffens the feel of fork or shock suspension during its compression. Turning a blue FOX
compression knob counter-clockwise will decrease compression damping, which softens
the feel of fork or shock suspension.
- The blue knob on the Terralogic® damper controls the adjustment of TERRALOGIC®
THRESHOLD. Turning this knob clockwise will increase the stiffness of the TerraLogic's automatic terrain sensitive lockout. Turning the blue TerraLogic Threshold knob counter-clockwise will decrease the stiffness of the TerraLogic's automatic terrain sensitive lockout.
- The black knob on the FIT CTD fork damper and Factory CTD shocks controls the
low speed compression adjustment in TRAIL mode only. Turning the black TRAIL ADJUST
knob clockwise increases low speed compression damping, making the fork or shock
feel stiffer under low speed compressions. Turning the black TRAIL ADJUST knob
counter-clockwise will decrease low speed compression damping, making the fork or
shock feel softer under low speed compressions.
